KARLA'S FIRST THREE MONTHS

Karla's English has come along in leaps and bounds and she presented a fantastic report on what she's been up to since she came to Warrnambool. Some of the highlights were a visit to Port Fairy, Girl Guides, bike riding, a visit to the football, Flagstaff Hill. She loved the trip along The Great Ocean Road where she saw London Bridge, the 12 Apostles, Port Campbell and Razorback. She went to Sydney where she saw the Queen Victoria building, the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, and experienced a ride on the Ferry. Karla has been brave enough to venture into the surf in Warrnambool's cold water! She's been surfing. Visited Tower Hill where she saw her first koala, an emu and has also now seen a kangaroo. Karla is now staying with Andrea Sampson who took her to a Rotaract meeting. Karla also had everyone in stitches when she mentioned she had also been "sheep shaving". Sorry Karla, I just had to put that one in.
