HOSPICE DONATION

At last night’s meeting President Marie Bennett presented a cheque for $5,500 to ‘Hospice in the Home’ representatives Deidre Bidmade and Daelene Bourke. Hospice in the Home is about helping people make the most of every moment as their lives draw to a close. It is about keeping people at home, if they don’t want to be, and don’t need to be, in busy hospitals. The Hospice in the Home Manager, and the team of specially trained volunteers, know how to offer care that helps meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those who are dying, as well as their families. Deidre and Daelene thanked Rotary for their donation and advised Rotary makes it a lot easier!
