FACEBOOK MESSAGE FROM BRITTA LAURSEN

For those of you who don't regularly check our facebook site, the following message was received from Astrid's mother following a post and photos placed on Facebook after last Tuesday's meeting. Our message was:

Last night we said goodbye to our lovely exchange student Astrid who will be returning to Denmark in a few days time. Astrid has been an absolute joy and touched many lives during her stay. She has been a wonderful ambassador for Denmark and her parents have every reason to be proud of their daughter. We will miss our ray of Danish sunshine and wish Astrid all the best in the future.

Astrid's mother's message was:

Britta Laursen This is wonderful reading, we are so pleased that both you and Astrid Sørensen has enjoyed her stay and thank you all very much for the praises. Thank you for taking so good care of her and letting her experience and learn so many exiting and different things in Warrnambool and surrounding areas. We have missed Astrid now for almost 12 months - In one week, we get our daughter back home.
