ANNUAL DINNER AUCTION - MICHAEL BOYD

Michael Boyd spoke about the Dinner Auction which is to be held at the City Memorial Bowls Club on Saturday, June 18 at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. This event is the Club's major fund raiser for the year and all club members are needed to help out. Michael said how important it is for members to help collect items to auction and bring people on the night. He handed out papers listing member’s names and possible donors we should approach, and if we are lucky, from whom we will collect items. Standing Tall will be the major recipient this year. As well as the auction there will be raffles for smaller items and 20 lucky keys auctioned for a chance to win $1000. There will also be a wheelbarrow raffle, loaded with various items. Second hand items are not appropriate. Michael said he hopes collector’s kits will be ready next week.
