Communities that Care

Cameron Price will discuss Communities That Care, a programme that facilitates the way a community promotes the healthy development of children and young people. It identifies and addresses priority areas to promote healthy development before young people become involved in problem behaviours, such as violence and antisocial behaviour, alcohol and substance abuse and leaving school before attaining year 12. Cameron Price works for Brophy Family and Youth Services.  He is coordinating the Communities That Care project in Warrnambool, which aims to promote the healthy development of children and young people, and to prevent health and social problems. His career has traversed community development, community services, adult education, operations management, local government and information technology. He brought his Wife and two young children from Geelong a year ago and is here to stay!
