Minutes of meeting 16/02/26
Lachlan opened the meeting, he started with the invocation and introduced President Lisa
Lisa who informed that all was quite with Rotary. She read the email from Oberon High Awards Recipient Elaina Laurie. (see read more section)
Lachlan informed us of the multi distric summet held in Horsham 27 - 29 March (https://www.rotaryimpactsummit.org/)
Jennifer Jones will be there who is Rotary International President Representitive. Cost is $200 per person, book now.General discussion on the Grovedale Waurn Ponds Rotary Club followed.
Lachlan welcomed Joan and Craige.
Lachlan spoke of a customer at the Dragon Boat event who was an art student and was drawing people at the event and did a drawing of the Rotarians at the BBQ.
Question from the floor asking how much was raised at the Dragon Boat BBQ, $500 on card $200 cash.
Discussion followed on the wall painting that hung at Oberon High School Library it is so big no one has a wall big enough to hang it.
Dinner followed with a Bingo Game after.
