The Rotary Club of Ballarat West has sponsored a record seven students from Mt Rowen and Woodman’s Hill Secondary Colleges to attend the Rotary Youth Enrichment Program (RYPEN).

2019 saw the largest investment in RYPEN from Ballarat West. The students ably described how each had personally gained from participation in a variety of workshops and activities over the residential weekend.RYPEN provides an opportunity for them to gain self-confidence, communication skills, challenge themselves, build friendships, and develop life skills.

Supporting these young people in the transition to adulthood is an investment in the future of our community.
