SONORA EXCHANGE STUDENT FAREWELL

My name is Elza Parish and I was very excited when I found out I was chosen to be the exchange student for the Ballarat exchange in 2019. I have always loved traveling, trying new things, and being pushed out of my comfort zone, all of which this trip includes. Although a little nerve-racking, I know that this experience would be something I would remember for a long time. I have not traveled much out of the country and to be able to go on this trip is such a blessing. I am very appreciative of both rotary clubs for making this exchange possible and I believe that I will grow as a person during my time in Australia. I was very excited when I arrived and very ready to start this adventure. The whole trip has been amazing and eye-opening to another culture and something I will not forget.
