Sunrise Rotarian, Sue Cronover, has presented us with the fantastic volunteer opportunity to be a part of a Habitat for Humanity home build!
Location: Williamsburg, MI.
Date: Saturday, October 10
Time: 9 am to 2 pm.
Everyone wears closed toe shoes, brings water bottle, lunch/snacks, face masks, etc.
Habitat will provide all the tools (sanitized), COVID-19 safety practices/health screening prior to starting working that day, hand sanitizer, etc.
Please see the following message from our friend and fellow Rotarian, Sue Cronover, regarding the Habitat for Humanity home build volunteer opportunity:
Unfortunately due to rain, we had to cancel our scheduled volunteer date on 9/12/2020 to help with the Habitat for Humanity build. We have a rescheduled date and I am hoping you will join me to have some fun helping a family in need and volunteering to help build their home!
I am challenging you to join me on October 10, 2020, 9 am to 2 pm, to help with one of our Habitat Home Builds. We will either be working in Williamsburg (8747 Streamview Lane, Williamsburg MI 49690, off of Vinton Road) or helping with some renovations (think Property Brothers or Fixer Upper!) at a recently donated home near Chums Corners (789 Valley View Dr, TC 49685).
Our Project Manager will let me know closer to the volunteer date of where and what we will be doing for that Saturday. I will e-mail all the signed up volunteers from our group as soon as I hear from him.
What an amazing opportunity to help a family in need in our community! I heard there were several in our group that could not volunteer the last date because they were busy, but that would like to help out. Because of COVID, we are looking for 4 people to sign up with me for Saturday, 10/10/2020.
