Town Crier Bruce Kruger gives sign of approval and the children declare the duck blind one of their favourite places at the Festival. The race sold out before noon as the weather brought duck enthusiasts from far & wide to the Duck Blind. The ducks went over the falls at 3:00 pm and the winner was declared soon after. Kayla was excited to receive her $1,000 from President Doug Hogarth!. The race netted $3,000 for the Mana, Salvation Army, and West Muskoka Food Banks to share in time for their Christmas drive. The Club is searching for a duck farm to grow more hearty ducklings to add to the race next year in view of this year's success!
