Rotary Leadership Institute Invitation

On behalf of District Governor, John Gordon, I am pleased to invite you to attend the first RLI Part 1 workshop to be held in D7010.

The Rotary Leadership Institute is new to our District but this grass roots leadership program has been in operation since 1992 and at this time more than 200 Districts are involved. Rotary cannot rise above the quality of our club leadership. The future of Rotary and the service we give to our community locally and internationally depends on strong club leadership . Our District has always had a culture of training and this program will greatly enhance this.

D7010 has joined with D6330, 7070, 7080, and 7090 to form the Shining Waters Division of RLI.

Rotarians of all levels of experience will be encouraged to attend sessions for Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the program at workshops held in all 5 Districts. Faculty to provide the training will be drawn from a pool of facilitators from all 5 Districts.

District 7010 is hosting a Part 1Workshop at the Days Inn at Barrie on Saturday May 11 beginning at 8:30 AM. This meeting will be facilitated by several experienced Rotary trainers from neighbouring Districts.
