Graeme Murray - Helping Youth

Graeme Murray spoke to the club about his passion and success in Sledge Hockey. For 16 years Graeme represented Canada for the Men's National Sledge Hockey Team.  Among his achievements include, a Paralympic Gold and Bronze, two World Championships and countless awards and tournament recognitions.

While representing Canada, Graeme kept Gravenhurst in his heart and takes every opportunity to give back to the community that raised him.

The product of his passion for an active lifestyle and his connection to Gravenhurst is the ACCOMPLISH TODAY FUND.

Simply put, the ACCOMPLISH TODAY FUND provides funding for youth with disabilities to attend a camp. This camp allows them to participate in sports where they may not have opportunities to at home due to availability or finances.

He shared that there was a wonderful upcoming opportunity to support the fund in an upcoming Golf Tournament on May 28th, 2016.  For more information please check out this link.
