February is World Understanding Month

In honor of World Understanding Month, dedicate your February club meetings to increasing members' awareness of life in other parts of the world.

Invite someone who is from or has lived in another country to speak at your club meetings. Your club can focus on a different area of the world each week. Discuss with your club different ways to become involved in international service projects or encourage members to participate in a Rotary Friendship Exchange.

Rotary offers many opportunities for expanding global perspectives. Make a concerted effort this month to take full advantage and build your club's goodwill and global friendships.
