RUBBER DUCK RACE

The Bala Cranberry Festival Duck Race held on Saturday, October 14th was a great success. 1,100 ducks went over the falls and raced to the finish line. After expenses and prizes, the net profit for this event should be in the $3,000.00 range. Although the weather was less than perfect, the crowd was large and ticket sales were brisk. It was a great opportunity for fun and fellowship while raising funds for the good works of our Club. A special thanks goes to Leslie McCann for organizing this year's event.
