EVERY ROTARIAN, EVERY YEAR
At this past Tuesday's meeting, Bob Neibert did a PowerPoint presentation and talked about the need for every Rotarian to become a Sustaining Member of The Rotary Foundation.
Bob gave a history of The Rotary Foundation from its inception in 1917, highlighting several of the milestones over the years. The Foundation has seen great support from both Rotarians and non-Rotarians, but the demand for funding is outstripping donations.
A campaign was started in the spring of 2004 to promoted an annual giving program. The goal of the program is for every Rotarian to become a sustaining member of The Rotary Foundation by donating US$100.00 per year.
