2012-2013 Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships

Applications for the 2012-2013 Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships are now available from Rotary District 7010

The Scholarships are designed to further international undestanding and goodwill, provide for study abroad for 1yr in one of 162 countries andd 35 geographical regions where Rotary clubs are located.

Academic -Year Ambassadorial Scholarships are for one academic year abroad and provide funding for round trip transportation,tuition and fees ,room and board, necessary educational supplies and language training (if Necessary) up to a maximum award of US $23,000  or its equivalent.

During their studies abroad the Scholars act as ''ambassadors of goodwill''
 through appearances at Rotary Clubs and Districts Schools ,civic organizatios and other forums the students represent their homelands and work to further international understanding.

The deadine for applications is Sept 4th 2011.
Required in person inerviews will be held on Sept 17,2011 in North Bay.
