ALL HANDS ON DECK! DUCK RACE THIS SATURDAY. VOLUNTEE!R SIGN UP TO FOLLOW! Volunteers needed from 8:30 am set-up to post-race to pick up ducks and pack up the Duck Blind until 4:30-ish. Volunteer shifts are listed for 2 hours each. Feel free to enter more than 1 shift if you plan to stay for the morning, afternoon, or all day. Volunteers are asked to bring a snack or dessert. BYOB. DIRECTIONS: From Port Carling, enter Bala and drive just past Don's Bakery and just before crossing the bridge, turn left at Perk's Place at Bala Falls Road. Drive under Train Trestle and on your left is a small parkette and parking lot. This is the location of the duck blind. You can park in the lot.
