West Michigan Miracle League Dedication

What a day! As you can see hundreds of supporters showed up for the dedication of the West Michigan Miracle League in Rockford. Fremont Rotary played a small but important piece in supporting this project through a financial contribution that combined with other area Rotary clubs and some potential matching funds will result in a $17,000 gift towards the project.

The field itself provides an opportunity for special needs children to experience the joys of baseball, for most likely the first time, on a fully accessible field. So kudos to the West Michigan Miracle League, to their board of directors, and to the many, many donors who made this possible!
