Randy Butters part of the Newaygo Invasive Plants Project, was our guest speaker on the Phragmites/Common Reed  ALERT.
Many invasive plants have come into Newaygo County in the last years. An invasive plant is an alien (non-native) species whose introduction does or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health. Randy listed the top three established invaders. Garlic Mustard, Common Reed and Autumn Olive.
