Cool Change Concert October 29

A Rotary fund raiser concert is planned at the Dogwood Center. 

“Cool Change”, a musical group from Alabama, will be performing.  The group has delighted audiences over the years with their close harmony, down home style and humor performing such hits as “Please Come to Boston”, “The City of New Orleans”, “Deep River Woman” and many others.   Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased at the Dogwood box office. 

All proceeds will help fund much-needed soccer shelters. The Fremont Rotary Club has identified the local project of building shelters for the Fremont soccer teams (school and community teams) that play on the Varsity field just west of the Middle School.  While soccer players are used to playing in the cold and rain, Fremont field is one of a very few fields in the district without a shelter for those who are injured, not playing or during half-time.
