REVENUE BREAKDOWN

20% of the weekly revenue payable to the weekly winner
30% of the weekly revenue is placed in a accumulated jackpot
50% of the weekly revenue is retained by the Chase the Ace organizers
 

GENERAL RULES

 
  • A standard deck of 52 playing cards will be used.
 
  • The draw will take place every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at the Rotary Centre For Youth - 131 Wellington Street Bracebridge Ontario.
 
  • The playing cards are randomly mixed and placed into sealed envelopes numbered 1 through 52.
 
  • On the day of the draw, the sealed envelopes containing the playing cards will be placed onto a display board with all eligible envelopes visible.
 
  • The display board will be on display during ticket sales and throughout the draw.
 
  • Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.
 
  • The draws will be recorded by video.
 
  • Tickets will be sold at select vendor locations throughout Muskoka during the week, and at the Rotary Centre for Youth on the day of the draw.
 
  • Participating vendors will stop selling tickets at noon on the day of the draw.  Tickets will be available for sale at the Rotary Centre for Youth from 1 pm until 6:30 p.m. on the day of the draw.
 
  • After each Tuesday evening draw, vendors will be supplied with new tickets on the following day, along with a poster showing the remaining envelopes/cards in play.
 
  • The weekly winner does not have to be present at the draw.
 
  • If the weekly winner selects an envelope that does not contain the Ace of Spades, the winner wins 20% of the weekly revenue.
 
  • The card and envelope are destroyed and removed from play.
 
  • If the winner is not present they will be called immediately and notified of their winnings.
 
  • If the weekly winner's name is not legible, the phone number indicated on the ticket will be phoned to clarify the winner's name. If there is no answer or the phone number is not legible, the ticket will be declared VOID and a new ticket will be drawn.
 
  • If an envelope number is not recorded on the winning ticket, the verifier will choose the lowest available number and that envelope will be opened.
 
  • If the envelope number written on the winning ticket is no longer in play, the verifier will choose the lowest available number and that envelope will be opened.
