The Polio You Thought You Knew
Tim Mulcrone is in his sixth year as Rotary District 5950’s Polio Chair. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Chanhassen, which he helped charter in 1987 and has served three times as President.
In 2012 Tim and his wife Ginger Mulcrone were recognized as Chanhassen Rotary’s Distinguished Service Award winners. His Rotary resumé includes hosting international students, serving on special club committees, and in addition to serving as club president three times, he was an assistant district governor. He also volunteers for Love, INC, the Chimbote, Peru, projects, and the Chanhassen Fourth of July Parade.
Mulcrone retired as a sergeant four years ago after serving 29 years with the Minnetonka Police Department. He and Ginger have a blended family of three boys and three girls, ages 28-43, and seven grandchildren.
