Fellowship Dinners
Every month, community members in Evanston host 3-4 students for dinner in their home. This helps connect students find trusted adults during their college experience. It also helps Rotarians connect with Rotaractors to build stronger working relationships.
Mentoring Projects
Rotaractors mentor high school students at Haile-Manas Academy as they perfect their English skills. We also read several students' college essays and help them navigate the American college application process. Finally, we communicate with students once they arrive in the USA to ease their transition and encourage their success as college students.
Study-Abroad Support
Rotaract helps connect students who are going abroad with Rotary clubs in their destination city. Through this global network, students can build community, receive support, and engage in service opportunities wherever they go—making their international experience more meaningful, impactful, and connected.
Career Connections
We build bridges between Northwestern students and Rotary International, which gives Rotaractors access to an incredible networking system. Through our participation in Rotary Means Business, we encourage students to make relationships that will help them find an amazing career. Even more, Rotaractors are often connected with Rotarian who work in their field of interest to promote networking and job placement.
