Our club is pleased to introduce two new members Linda Tamm (L) and Jennifer Peters (R).
Linda has come to our community via Toronto, Calgary & Dallas. She has resided in Pender for the past 5 years with her partner Ron; building a beautiful home on Garden Bay Lake. Linda had a 20 year career with IBM in Sales & Marketing before starting her own business as a Tour Operator, specializing in wine destination travel. Linda & Ron enjoy boating, & water sports above and below lakes & the ocean,
Jennifer, is a local business owner, living and operating her Hair Salon in Madeira Park. Jen recently received the Sunshine Coast Rotary Club's Community Service Award for her remarkable Dreams Come True project. This year, the project provided 18 Coast Girls with Prom dresses at no cost. Each student may select a dress, shoes, purse & accessories, a value of between $500-$1,000 which many families can not manage. The program is designed to assist those in financial need and those who prefer more affordable options for a one-time event. She also is involved with son's scout pack as a scout leader. Her husband Sean Peters is a local musician.
