$$$ TO EGMONT VFD

At the September 26, 2008, meeting, Ron Johnston presented a cheque for $3200.00 to the Egmont Volunteer Fire Department. The money was raised at this year's Show & Shine.

John Duggan, president of the Egmont and District Volunteer Fire Department Society, received the cheque, with thanks. John informed the club that the firehall is nearing completion, with electrical and plumbing done and drywalling underway.
