RI Turns 100!

The year 2010 marks the centennial of Rotary going international. And it happened in Canada with the first meeting of the Winnipeg club in 1910 (chartered 1912).

To celebrate the centennial, District 5040 is asking that each club contribute $250.00 dollars to help build a school in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. This is being done as part of Canada's Afghanistan Challenge Program, and the federal government will provide 50% of the construction costs.
