Our Signature Story

We have our own spin on Service Above Self...

Like clubs all over, we take Rotary's ideal of service to heart and, using our own particular talents and resources, do our best to put good Rotarian words into beneficial action for all concerned.

In our short history, we have organized a wine festival, giant garage sale, popular annual art auction, and Scotch tasting event. We have sold calendars outside in the cold of winter and, in the heat of summer, cooked up a storm of salmon and smokies for the Show & Shine car show, Pender Harbour Jazz Festival, and other local events. Our efforts have supported:

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
Group Study Exchange (GSE)
PolioPlus, Rotary's end-polio program
student bursaries and scholarships
community initiatives, such as the Egmont Volunteer Fire Department, Garden Bay Lake Project, Women's History Project, Marine Rescue Society, Reading Centre, and more . . .
