President John King and PHSS grad Elizabeth Haines

At the meeting of September 4, 2009, President John King presented PHSS Grad Elizabeth Haines with a $1500 bursary cheque from the Rotary Club of Pender Harbour. Elizabeth will be attending Trinity Western University and pursuing a career in education.

Since its inception in 2003, the Rotary Club of Pender Harbour has raised and distributed over $100,000 and helped local artists generate over $70,000 through their annual Wine and Art Auction.
