Teams of four build a boat in 3 hours, then race around the harbour for prizes and bragging rights.

And if you were not on a boat building team on April 27, you would be cheering for the racers! Spectators enjoyed a fun day of kids activities, snacks and food, and the excitement of watching the teams construct and race their crazy creations! Teams from the high schools also race their classroom-built boats around the course for prizes, and to cause a little  nautical mayhem.

Once again the Rotary Club of Pender Harbour participated by barbecuing up a plethora of burgers and free hot dogs for kids, at this annual fun and always much anticipated family event.

This years boat building twist, a garage can & lid needed to be part of the boat.
