Rotary Revival Joins Community Yard Sale for a Day of Fun and Fundraising
On Saturday, May 30th, the Rotary Club of Parry Sound Revival participated in the Community Living Parry Sound Community Yard Sale, joining residents, families, and community organizations for a day filled with bargains, fun, and community spirit.
Visitors enjoyed browsing a wide variety of items while supporting local causes. Rotary Revival members were pleased to contribute to Community Living Parry Sound through their participation in the event and were also able to raise approximately $400 for the Club's Youth Swimming Program. These funds will help provide local children with access to swimming lessons and build confidence and safety around the water.
One of the highlights of the day was a laser tag demonstration offered by Rotary volunteers. Children had the opportunity to try out the equipment, learn the basics of the game, and enjoy a little friendly competition. The demonstrations attracted plenty of enthusiastic participants and added an extra element of fun to the event.
The yard sale was a wonderful opportunity to connect with members of the community, support an important local organization, and showcase some of the programs Rotary Revival is developing for local youth.
Rotary Revival extends its thanks to Community Living Parry Sound for organizing such a successful event and to everyone who visited our booth, made a purchase, tried laser tag, or stopped by to say hello. Together, we helped make the day both enjoyable and meaningful for our community.
