 President Hu Beaver called the meeting to order at 12:15pm. The meeting was held at The Kwataqnuk Resort. Ray Wooldridge l led us in song. Eileen Kane gave the invocation.

Announcements are as follows:

Visiting Rotarians: Sheriane Eckenrod and Bob Dayton.

 

The second Tuesday social event will be held from 5-7pm, Tuesday, September 10th aboard the Shadow. A $13.50 charge person. Heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be served and everyone receives a ticket for one free drink, then an open bar after that.

 

Larry Ashcraft won the drawing and gave the money to the Martini Fund.

 

Hu and Dan Barz will be attending the Hands Across the Border celebration, representing Polson Rotary.

 

Devin Huntley, COO of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is the newest Polson Rotary member.

 

The program this week was the Annual General meeting.

 

              Jim Oates presented on the Polson Rotary Club and Foundation balance sheet, cumulative signature project and revenue

             and expense report. Polson Rotary has a net income of $1,653.59. The club raised the most money ever for the signature

             project. For a more complete accounting contact Jim.

 

             The membership also voted that a voluntary donation of $25 will be added to each quarterly billing statement. The

             money, should you choose to participate, will be given to the Rotary Foundation, which will eventually lead to a Paul

             Harris Award once $ 1,000 is credited.

\

             Jake Baumann was nominated as President Elect for the year 2021.

 

 

The next Polson Rotary meeting will be Tuesday, September 3rd at 12:15pm at the Kawtaqnuk Resort.
