Message from the President

We Promote Peace

The news of the world this past week has been difficult for us as Rotarians. One of Rotary's main causes is promoting peace. "We refuse to accept conflict as a way of life. Rotary projects provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts, by carrying out service projects and supporting peace fellowships and scholarship. Our members take action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, discrimination, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources."  From Rotary.org - Causes - Promoting Peace. Keep this cause in mind when you tell others about Rotary & the work we do in the local & international community.

Thanks,

Dean Fiedler, President 2021-22

Notables

WELCOME.

Our new meeting location each week is Missoula Country Club, 3850 Old US Highway 93 S., Missoula. Club members voted to relocate weekly meetings to the country club. Your meal service cards will be accepted at our formal meetings, but are not applicable at the country club fellowship lunches the last week of each month. Rotarians need to RSVP for lunches, please. This causes a problem when members do not RSVP. Your guests are encouraged and always welcome, just please RSVP in advance for you and your guests. Thanks for your help.

Service Above Self.

March is Water and Sanitation Month

Clean water and good sanitation are necessary to prevent disease.  Rotary does projects around the world to build water sanitation stations, wells and other clean water devices such at the at home bio filter pictured below in Guatemala.
