Volunteers are asked to sign-up by clicking here. The Lewisville Morning Rotary Club Dictionary service project is one of the most rewarding volunteer activities our club has. The task is simple, deliver dictionaries directly to the 3rd graders of the school you volunteered to deliver. The school will arrange for our members to make a short presentation. After giving dictionaries to the students, one of the Rotary members announces the dictionaries are theirs to keep and asks them to write their name on the front page "our lable). Then we do a fun activity such as find the word "rotary". When the word is found, one of the children read the definition. Our Rotary member then tells the story of how Paul Harris started the club by meeting weekly in a different members office. The kids are so thankful and full of energy, you will find yourself leaving with a bounce in your step. |

The exterior of the trailer features a timeline of “The War and The Wall” and provides additional information about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Additional exhibits give visitors a better understanding of the legacy of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the collection of items left at The Wall. To learn more about The Wall That Heals, please visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) website. The VVMF is the nonprofit organization that built the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) in Washington, D.C. in 1982.
