3rd Grader Dictionary Distribution

Volunteers are needed to take dictionaries from storage at Central ES to each of eleven schools 3rd grade class rooms at Central, Mill St, Garden Ridge, Lakeland, Ethridge, Camey, Morninside, Degan, Independence, Garden Ridge Vickory Elementary Schools

Volunteers will be escourted to classrooms by school staff. They then will hand out dictionaries to 3rd pupils. Introduce yourself to the class, say a few words about Rotary and then ask them to put their names on the inside lable. Then ask the students to look up a word (rotary for example). Walk around the room coaching students how to find the word. If you ask them to look up rotary, tell them the story how Rotary got it's name.

If you have dictionaries left over, leave them with the librarian.
