1. Present power landscape on Roatan 
2. Missed resilience opportunities ( RECO ) and causes of outages 
3. Caribbean Power landscape ( CARILEC, movement towards net-zero, microgrids ) 

Mathew has lived on Roatan for over 34 years. He has 34 years of experience in the power industry on Roatan, beginning in 1992, holding positions at RECO as metering supervisor, line supervisor, distribution manager, interim general manager and Director of Operations. 
He is presently Managing Director of Green Hill Power ( EPC firm ) and part-time consultant engineer for Scottish and Southern Energy ( SSE ) in the field of renewables integration and has been heavily involved in green energy. As Managing Director at Green Hill Energy, he has helped find and shape solutions; his focus is: what must we do so the Bay Islands do not get left behind as the world focuses on green energy sources?
