Public Image Committee (Ron): Board approved $250 to sponsor QC screening of Can't Look Away on 8/7/25 to educate youth and adults about the dark side of social media. See link to this event in the Upcoming Events section below. Ron's goal is to have our club participate in more community events (ex. Praise in the Park, Founder's Day, Spring into QC.) 2026 Run for Resilience set for Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Youth Services Committee (Dan for Mike): Our goal is to form an Interact Club in an area high school. We need a teacher advisor to be the point person/sponsor within the school. Please reach out to Mike if you know someone who could help with this or if you wish to be involved in this initiative. We could potentially form/support this Interact Club with RYLA sponsorships!
Rotary Foundation Committee (Greg): Our goal is 100% membership participation in contributions through Rotary Direct. If you'd like to know more about this program, or need help signing up for as little as a $10 donation per month, please reach out to Greg so he can assist. Paul Harris Fellows and Major Donors will be recognized at our Club Installation Celebration Dinner.
Club Administration Committee (Alex): Save the Date for our next social event on September 12th at 5pm at Dan and Colleen Coons' home! Also, contracts for meetings at the Hampton Inn are set to be signed through December. The back gate at the entrance into the meeting room will be unlocked for our future meetings. Please go through Alex for any requests of the meeting room so communication is streamlined. Please share GREAT speaker recommendations with Alex ASAP. We have the following speaker dates open: 8/26, 9/9, 10/14, 10/28 (possibly a Veteran-centric organization or business?), 11/25, 12/9, 12/23.
Membership Committee (Diana): New member packets have been ordered and will be presented at our Club Installation Dinner. Diana is working on an orientation program. Members who have joined her committee so far are Mike, Dave B, Jason and Chad.
Fund Raising Committee (Brenda for Dave): Fundraising affects our dues, how we will run our club, and the level of service we can provide our community. We are looking to be more proactive this year so we can level-up our achievements. Dave has invited and will fund dinner at our Club Installation Celebration for a few excellent future sponsorship candidates. Greg and Ron (for Run for Resilience) will help with this committee. Greg will reach out to Earnhardt by the end of August to try to secure the Title Sponsorship for the 2026 Run for Resilience.
Service Projects Committee: This is headed up by James, but relies heavily on sub-committee chairpersons to execute our many service projects. Examples: Grace for our Blood Drives, Ron for Run for Resilience, Diana for Highway Clean-up. If you have an idea for a service project, or want to get more involved, please reach out to James or any of the sub-committee chairpersons.
