Being in Rotary is always a reason to celebrate. Contributing to the community and the world for nine successful years is more reason to celebrate!
On February 27 the members of our Club, together with the District 5050 leadership, The Mayor of Port Coquitlam, members of Tricities Rotary and Rotaract Club and other community organizations in Port Coquitlam gathered at Palace Athena, to make this a truly Rotary Family Event.
President Angela presented cheques to other community organisation to support their events.
In addition bursaries were awarded to Henry Zhang (left) of Terry Fox Secondary School and Imam Baharmand (right) Riverside Secondary School, as our bursary award for this year.
All in all it was an enjoyable event to celebrate our success and renew our commitment to the community and its people.
