Oktoberfest was a great Party!
Yes, it was a great party. The food was good, the music was great, the people were wonderful, the silent auction items were amazing. It was a lot of fun. Mayor Greg Moore started the evning off with some uplifting words, and the fun began. The dinner was more than we could finish and then the music began. We danced and laughed and had agreat time. The silent auction was truely fabulous . . . . . The club will be able to help many others locally with the proceeds of the evening.
Our thanks go out to our sponsors, the people and the companies that donated items for the silent auction. There were 91 great auction items. We also want to thank the Rotarians that were involved in this project. Haresh, Tyleen and Lynda were the front line Rotarians. Then came the other worker bees that helped make the night a success. A special thanks to Gale Acker for her entertaining moments, Carol spent many hours dealing with the auction sales. Thanks to Brad, Gerry, Glenn, Paul, Jerome, Angela, Dave, Gaye, Russ, Bob & Carrie, and all the other members that helped to make the evning a success.
