Oct. 24th Meeting Notes

A fast moving meeting tonight. President Paul steered the group through our regular business quickly while Charter President Barrie Seaton set up the DVD to bring us another speach from the Rotary Convention recently held in Salt Lake City.  Barrie says the speaches were amazing - he's now played two of them for the club. One from Rotary President Bill Boyd which was truly inspiring - the other tonight by a Rotarian from India on how he was able to turn his dream of clean water for an area with 120,000 poor people into a reality with the help of Rotary International, The Rotary Foundation and the Government of India. A truely touching story that says what you dream can be made to happen when you put your passion to work. Charter President Barrie reminded us that the dues and contributions of our club and many others makes the completion of these dreams possible.
