November-December Happenings
Nov. 11th - President Cheryl laid a wreath on behalf of the Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam at the at the Civic ceremonies on Remembrance Day.
Nov. 13th meeting - Reg Neufeld from the "Kindness Foundation of Canada" talked to us about "Kind Acts" and "World Kindness Day". Reg hopes the thought will be contagious!

Nov. 20th - Gene Vickers of the Port Moody club gave us a talk on following our "Passions". As usual, his talk was great!
Nov. 27 - The addition of Tyleen and Gracie Adoo to the club. WELCOME!
December 4 - Greg Moore, Port Coquitlam's new mayor visited and talked to us about his vision for the city.
Dec. 6 - "Safe Ride Home" - Members were at Carnouskie Golf course to give free rides to civic employees who needed to have a safe ride home and have their vehicle driven home as well. The evening started at 10PM and ended at 2AM Thanks to Greg, Anne, Ryan, Glen, Bob, Tyleen, & Russ for their participation.
Dec. 11th - Angela Andersen produced her new "Mentor Guide" for club use.
Dec. 18th - Our last meeting for the year - ADG Denis Boyd joined us and talked about the "Family of Rotary", some of the pressures and how to deal with many. A good talk.
Dec. 16th - Hawthorne Xmas Party was attended by Rotarians.
Dec. 19th - The Port Coquitlam Youth Centre Christmas Dinner was held - Some Rotarians were there.
