Membership Matters

Barrie and Mohan attended the Regional Membership for Areas D, E and F held at the Rotary Field House, South Surrey on Saturday March 5th. Judging from the content of the Seminar, it provided us with new insight to attracting, recruiting, engaging and retaining the membership within the Rotary.

As specific action, the club will be adopting the following:

1. Appoint a Greeter at each meeting of the Club, commencing the next meeting on March 10th

2. Personalize new member induction and involve the member's family at the induction ceremony.

3. The president to send a personal letter of welcome to the new member. Such a letter to be sent by mail to the address of the member.

The club will be discussing more and more ways and means of increasing the membership of Rotary in general and of our club in particular.
