WOW! Was that a Parade OR WHAT?

Thank you, Thank You, to everyone who came out, braved the weather and helped the Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam Centennial put on perhaps THE BEST Parade Port Coquitlam has ever seen.

Everyone did a fantastic job in spite of the few showers (?) we experienced (did you notice the rain stopped at 11.00am and started again about 1.45pm?)

Generous Hearts Food Drive for SHARE -May 28-29

We will be holding a food drive again this year at two stores. Safeway and Save-On near Costco. Please sign up for a shift. We need all the help we can get for this. More information to come from Paul. The Board of Directors has approved a donation of $2500 from our gaming grant. To be presented at the Food Drive.

May 19- Students from Odyssey of the Mind will be doing a performance.  This is a meeting not to be missed.

June 11^th – Wilson Centre Seniors Breakfast

Every year we support the Seniors Breakfast with money and hands on help. We set up, serve a couple of hundred seniors with a pancake breakfast, and then clean up the large room in the Wilson Centre. The Seniors can have a breakfast, award ceremony and some entertainment. So if you know how to sing & dance, let us know.

June 23^rd – Club Installation of 2011 – 12 Executive

Please set this day aside, plan on bringing your spouse or significant other while we set up the club executive for the next Rotary Year.

Camp Jubilee- Friday July 8^th – Thursday July 14^th.

For Grades 4 and 5. No cost to the camper. Our club can send 8 kids. Cost is almost $500 per child. The Parent/Student meeting will be held on May 26^th.  Students have been chosen by Central school.
