Ingredients to Avoid in Household Cleaners

The following ingredients are potentially dangerous to your helth. Avoid them if possible:
Ammonia or Chlorine Compounds - toxic chemicals
Surfactants - Potentially damaging to humans
Phosphates - encourages the growth of algae.
What to look for when buying household cleaners:
Phosphate free.
Non-toxic
Water or vegetable based.
No ingredients with "Chlor" in their name
Pump spray - not aerosol.
Some things to avoid:
All automatic dishwashing detergents unless free from chlorine.
Flamable products
Anti-bacterial products - they kill good bacteria as well as bad ones.
