Hike For Hospice

Results: 78 Hikers met at the Hyde Creek Centre at 9 AM on a rainy Sunday morning to take part in the Hike For Hospice Event,
take part in the Hike For Hospice Event, co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam Centennial and the Rotary Club of Port Moody. Sites for the 5KM hike were in both Port Coquitlam and in Port Moody. Prizes, refreshments and entertainment were provided before and after the walkers completed the course. A great time was had by all. Special thanks to Gale Acker, the Rotary Captain in charge of proceedings. Most of the clubs members were helping out at Hyde Centre to make this event successful. Over $37,000 was raised by the two clubs including corporate donations.
