The second largest parade in the Lower Mainland concludes in 89th year

There were about 100 parade entries and it lasted about 3 hours in downtown Port Coquitlam.  The streets were full of people, came out and watch the May Day Royal Party and community floats, marching bands, motorcycles, antique vehicles and much, much more.  Many of the community’s non- profit organizations were there as well. People from Tri-City area came out in full force to enjoy the sunny day and cheer-on the Terry Fox Foundation, the various local soccer clubs, the Girl Guides and do not forget the Boy Scouts of Canada.  Cheer on our future leaders.

We cannot think of any better way to belong to the community that we are so proud of.
