A Great Meeting

Our membership drive meeting on Thursday July 23 had great entertainment, food and a door prize. Our Guests included Cathy O'Neill from Hawthorne and Robert Dean and his Wife Patricia from the Tri City Men's Resource Centre. Plus Peter who will be inducted on August 20.
Jerome entertained us with his classification talk or was it a comedy act? He will be preforming on Stage in Vancouver soon.(at 2616 E. Hastings St.) Be sure to ask him the date. Wilson Centre was unable to supply us with tea & coffee etc, However someone was Psychic and brought a vegetarian appetizer and home made cookies. Since this was a membership drive a bottle of wine was donated and the winner was Greg.
Please remember that tickets are now printed for our Oktoberfest Dinner and Dance On September 26, 2009. This event features a live band. A full Buffet Dinner is included in the price of $50 per ticket. Each member is required to sell 10 tickets. Our newest member Linda has tickets if you have not received them. Also items are required for the silent Auction.
