"For the Love of Rotary" Fundraiser Raffle

February…the month of Valentine’s Day and love and passion. It’s a special time to let loved ones and friends know that they hold a special place in our hearts. As this year’s President of the Westhampton Rotary Club, I can tell you that our small-but-mighty service club, chartered in 1953, is near and dear to my own heart. Our hard-working board members and fellow Rotarians are passionate about raising money to help people. They truly embody Rotary’s motto: “Service Above Self.” And now we’re asking for YOUR help. Without the support of the community, our efforts are not as strong.

Unfortunately, like many non-profit organizations, our club’s fundraising efforts have been greatly hampered since the start of COVID. While we were able to hold our annual golf outing in 2021, many of our other fundraising events remain in limbo. And that’s very concerning. Let me tell you why.

The Westhampton Rotary Club uses all the money we raise to give scholarships to graduating high school seniors and to support many local, national, and international organizations, including Camp-Pa-Qua-Tuck, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Boy Scout Troop 62, East End Hospice, the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, the Westhampton Cultural Consortium, the Hope for Children Fund, the Salvation Army, and the Westhampton High School’s Robotics, Virtual Enterprise and Interact Clubs.

Here’s how it works: A $50 donation gets you one chance at winning one of our great raffle prizes below, a $100 donation gets two chances, etc. Envelopes must be post-marked by 2/28/22 and winners will be picked on 3/4/22.
