To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, Rotary Sunset presented 14 gift certificates to local hair salons to clients of the Sunrise Adult Training Centre.
To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, Rotary Sunset presented 14 gift certificates to local hair salons to clients of the Sunrise Adult Training Centre.
The certificates were presented by Rotary Sunset's vocational director Marie Martin, as part of the club's annual Christmas donation drive. Ms Martin expressed her thanks to the two participating salons: Salon Fab and Hair Gallery for contributing the discounted certificates.
Sunrise has a personal care group that is run through its occupational therapy team, and was thrilled to be able to use the donations with its clients.
