On Friday 31st October, Rotarians from Rotary Sunset held a donation drive at Cost U Less Supermarket for the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands.
On Friday 31st October, Rotarians from Rotary Sunset held a donation drive at Cost U Less Supermarket for the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands. Goods requested included: Toiletries, Ensure Nutritional Drinks, Adult Diapers, Blankets etc. In five hours a remarkable 4 trolley loads of goods were donated as well as a staggering $800 in cash, which was used to buy further supplies. The Association were delighted with the donations and remarked that "the MASSIVE donation will make a major difference in the lives of the many seniors in our community who are living homebound with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, and as such is so appreciated".
