It looks like we are set to officially plan the PMYCS spring refresh tentatively for April 26 -27, 2024. Everyone, please confirm that date will work for all. Larry has informed us that we have $2000 to spend and all items must be purchased prior to April 1. Please see below for the scope of the project. Samantha will attend the board meeting in March to formally propose the project.
- Prep and paint the handicap ramp at the entrance to the building.
- Brad will confirm the cost of materials prior the board meeting.
- Samantha will approach Patchogue Village to see if they can replace some of the rotten wood on the ramp.
- Scrape and paint the window frames on the exterior. Is Patchogue Village planning to replace the windows in the near future?
- Brad will add the extra paint required to the estimate.
- Paint entire kitchen space.
- Brad will estimate the required paint and wall prep.
- Replace front storm door.
- Brad will get an estimate for a replacement door.
- Replace and install insulating window blinds (4) in kitchen area.
- Brad will measure and get cost estimate.
- Purchase and install privacy blinds for counselors' office.
- Brad will measure and get cost estimate.
- Purchase and assemble new director's office desk.
- Purchase a new area rug for main space in building.
- Purchase storage racks in kitchen area. Install same.
- Paul will research a couple of desks, rugs, storage racks from Amazon and will present a couple of choices for Samantha to choose from. Will ship directly to PMYCS site.
- Outdoor plants for planters and garden area.
- Rick will approach Home Depot for some replacement plants.
